Students in the final year of the English Language Teaching program at Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University reached beyond the university campus to meet young learners. As part of the “Community Service Practices” course, the prospective teachers visited Mehmet Akif Ersoy Primary School and gave the students of class 3-E an unforgettable day.

Stepping outside the traditional classroom setting, the activity was held in the schoolyard, where English instruction was combined with games. Thanks to the English games that supported children’s physical and cognitive development, the students had the opportunity to learn a foreign language in a fun, hands-on way.

Throughout the event, both the teacher candidates and the young students were observed to be highly motivated. The project was praised as a strong example of cooperation between the university and primary schools.
